For Elise sustainability means continuously striving to do better and being open to change. She is part of our client engagement team, where she works with businesses and organisations to design and develop projects across all our services that help them succeed sustainably.
With a background in producing consumer goods, Elise understands the social and environmental challenges that many industries face and, equally, contribute to. Elise also has experience in managing supply chains, leading research and development and embedding ethical business practices. She knows that organisations succeed when they have the right data and right people working together.
Her career highlights include helping one employer achieve B-Corp status and launching a plastic-free and kerbside-recyclable product for a New Zealand skincare brand. Whatever she does, she’s led by purpose. This includes her work leading a team of volunteers to collect and distribute aid to refugees in Calais waiting to enter the UK.
The Wellington-based textile designer (BDes Hons) spends her spare time experimenting with natural dye made from foraged flowers and leftover bouquets from friends’ weddings or parties. She also likes knitting and sews her clothes.
